Grow Your Blog Community
First off, I wanted to thank you for your interest in Hipster Healing. I would like to use my first blog to introduce myself. I am currently a Junior at University of Houston- Downtown and I plan on graduating with a BS in Psychology. If I am fortunate enough, I will go for my Masters. As my profession is concerned, I am a Registered Behavior Technician, working with kiddos on the spectrum to help improve their socialization, communication, and behavior reduction, which allows me to grow a rapport with kiddos and brings me much joy. Even though times can be tough, I strive to stay positive and am learning to distant myself from any negativity. After researching and learning the benefits of Essential Oils, I knew that I wanted to help educate, experiment, and have proof of an alternative way to Western Medicine.
I would like to introduce a great way to naturally whiten teeth!
1 Tblsp of Charcoal Powder
1 Tblsp of Baking Soda
1 Tblsp of Licorice Powder (If you don't want to use Licorice Powder, substitute with extra Tblsp of Baking Soda)
20 drops or so of Peppermint Essential Oil and a splash of water or coconut oil.
Add the E.O and stir until the consistency is to your liking. This wont be the same consistency as toothpaste, but it will be just as effective!
Keep ingredients in an enclosed container, or it will dry out.
If you would like to use a mouth rinse, add peppermint oil to water and/or coconut oil.
For tooth pain, one can use a variety of oils such as; Lavender, Clove, Peppermint, and Chamomile. One can create a variety of drops into coconut oil and/or aloe vera gel and swish around or apply directly. (6 drops to 5 tsp)
The following can also be added to the toothpaste as well.
